Under the direction of Dr. Peter K. Law, CTI has invested upwards of $30 million into research and development in an effort to bring MTT to the market; the company holds numerous issued or pending patents as depicted in the patent list below (some cover several countries). Each PCT/EPO patent issued represents about 65/25 patents issuable in the treaty countries.

CTI possesses the most comprehensive intellectual properties associated with cell therapy. The patents cover the production of myoblasts, application of myoblasts for various diseases and enhancement, production of media for growth, transport, transplant and storage. CTI has also patented the automated method to produce myoblasts. Automatic injection catheter patents are pending.

Beside MTT, there is not another biotechnology which has more potential therapeutic usage or better protection with patents, provisional patents and trade secrets. CTI's intellectual properties have cornered the whole MTT technology and the human genome therapy technology globally. Since the myoblast is the only cell type in the human body capable of natural cell fusion, MTT is the only natural human genome therapy possible. These are powerful therapeutic technologies indeed.

Following are the patents Peter K. Law has been issued over years. This represents the most valuable asset of Cell Transplants International, LLC., as its cutting edge technology remains ahead of the competition.
